I have been too. I decided when I hit my late 30s that my 40s were going to be the greatest years of my life thus far. It was only recently that I realized that I have to make them that way. I can't just sit by and hope for the best, because it won't ever happen if I don't make it happen.

It's not something you can do all at once. You have to pull yourself out of the pit one step at a time. Make choices to do the things that make you happy. Instead of checking FB or watching something on cable, pull out your beads and make something. Get Erin involved and make something together. Go buy a CD some Saturday afternoon, load it on your computer, and set Windows to automatically bring up your player every time you turn it on.

I know it's way easier said than done, but nonetheless, no one can do this for you. Just think Bill Murray in "What About Bob": baby steps. One choice at a time, and I know you can eventually pull yourself out of that funk.Geekwifhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08757848004081797679noreply@blogger.com
